Jennifer Wright

Founder & CEO

Since 2009, Jennifer Wright has worked in almost every aspect of the performing arts and entertainment industry and has since developed nationwide contacts from high profile touring artists to emerging artists new to the music scene, in every genre. Jennifer has also represented major cultural organizations, programming in communities large and small.

 

Her knowledge and expertise began as the Director of Marketing at the historic Orpheum Theatre in Wichita, Kansas, and eventually Executive Director of the theatre through 2015. At the Orpheum, Jennifer successfully expanded the programming, marketing and overall funding of the historic theatre and raised its profile nationally. Further industry experience led her to beautiful town of Aspen, Colorado where she served as the Director of Marketing and Development for the award-winning theatrical company, Theatre Aspen. Jennifer returned to her home state of Texas where she led the Angelina Arts Alliance through almost six successful years, doubling the program’s capacity, funding and programming. There, she developed their local and regional presence as a regional funder, catalyst and presenter of the performing arts, arts education, community engagement, taking on a second venue and establishing a solid partnership with the local municipality.

Jennifer’s eye for quality, creative and innovative programming and marketing has built her a reputation of long-standing success, responsible for over 3,000 events, over $5 million in ticket sales, $10 million raised for support of the arts, multiple new cultural and municipal partnerships and advocacy for arts relative to cultural and economic development.

 

Following a successful run as Director of Florida State University’s Opening Nights (2022-2024), where attendance and ticket revenue increased 25% under her tenure, Jennifer is now working independently as Founder and CEO of Pearl Entertainment & Productions, LLC to fill the cultural and entertainment needs of Florida’s Emerald Coast and beyond.

 

Jennifer is a long-time professional member of the Association of Performing Arts Professionals, the International Entertainment Buyers Association. She is a former member of the Florida Professional Presenters Consortium, the Southwest Performing Arts Presenters, the League ofHistoric American Theatres and served as the President of the Kansas Historic Theatres Association in 2015.

 

Jennifer calls the Florida Panhandle home and enjoys spending time with friends, family, at the beach, traveling and with her menagerie of pets.
